If you like your slots to pound away at your adrenal gland like a demented jackhammer, thematically speaking, Loot Boost ain't gonna the one. If, on the other hand, you're after a slot with the ability to send you into a chilled, almost lullaby dream state, Loot Boost might be a match.

Loot Boost is a 5-reel, 4-row online slot with 40 paylines for evaluating wins. Players may choose a stake from 20 p/c to $/€50 per spin and have access to three bonus buys from the feature buy menu. With three RTP configurations having been created, the default value is 96.05%, while the math model running the show is a medium volatile one.

Ultra Link&Win Feature

Landing 6 or more Coin symbols triggers this feature - 3 free respins are awarded with the triggering Coins held in place. All other positions respin. Loot Boost: Slot Verdict

You have to feel for Loot Boost in some ways. The reason why is that we'd reviewed the behemoth that is Money Train 4 around the same time, so it required a few deep breaths and some mental readjustments to get into the mood to verdict Slingshot Studios' release. To be fair, the two games inhabit completely different extremes on the hold' n win spectrum. Where Money Train 4 is one of the all-time premium releases that burns itself onto the gambling consciousness, Loot Boost is a throwaway title by comparison.

Of course, not everyone wants to cling to a runaway freight train with one hand while their fingers are slipping loose one by one as it hurtles down a near vertical run of track. For something completely opposite, something gentler, calmer, then Loot Boost could be the one to go for. Its atmosphere is so light as to be almost polystyrene in weight, as is much of the gaming, which revolves around standard Slingshot Studios' stuff – Power Stacks, Link&Win, and free spins. Its innovation, if you'd like to call it that, is Max Mode, but it's just extra rows, so it's not super innovative. Max win isn't super eye-opening either, reaching a ceiling value of 4,000x the bet.

All in all, Loot Boost is an amiably presented game which doesn't do much that Slingshot Studios' slots haven't done before. However, for players who don't want to tangle with the meanest hold 'n wins on the block, its lower key verging on nap time atmosphere may appeal.
