The classic slot Twin Spin has a new cousin – Twin Spin Deluxe
But even if you happen to be a fan of Twin Spin it’s no guarantee of you falling for this one. At first glance it looks recognizable but the mechanics of the game is very different being sort of a mix between Twin Spin and Aloha (weird, right?). The thing is, that instead of 243 way gameplay it now uses clusters (ugh) and you need a cluster of 9 symbols for a win.
Deluxe has 6 reels compared to 5 on the classic version and the max win is 1000 times the bet. Max win wasn’t much better on old Twin Spin with 1080x. Now, we are well aware of the fact that you can’t make a fair judgement after only one session, but we couldn’t appreciate this one at all. We mostly experienced dead spins and when we finally got a “big win” it was giving us a celebration screen for wins as low as 15x the stake. Meh…
In terms of graphics, symbols and sound it’s pretty much the same as the old one except they cleaned it up a bit making it look even more futuristic. The randomly triggered synchronized reel spins are still there which is pretty much it’s trademark.
Twin Spin Deluxe is a medium variance slot with an rtp of 96.61%.
It’s fun to try once, maybe twice at best, but we’ll stick to the classic version as we’re not a big fan of the cluster mechanics.
