Blueprint Gaming's Leprechaun makes a comeback with pockets full of potential
Yet another one of Blueprint's old creations have been upgraded using Big Time Gaming's immensely popular MegaWays engine. The original Irish luck-themed game Slots O'Gold was released in 2016 and was a rather simple slot with a 5x3 layout and 10 paylines that never really did much to entice players. Now made more relevant by today's standards, the MegaWays version has all the components to appeal to slots enthusiasts with whopping potential and, of course, more ways to win.
Granted, we never got around to giving it a full review as we felt there were just too many similar slots being launched at the same time and seeing it's essentially more of the same, there's only so much you can say about it. However, that doesn't make them less fun to play, and it does offer some variation nonetheless.
While much of the visual elements remain the same, Slots O'Gold MegaWays has been enhanced with crisp high-definition graphics and a whole new reel set that make use of 6 reels and up to 15,625 win ways. It's now playable on both desktop computers and mobile devices from 0.10 to 50 EUR and comes charged with a max win potential of 10,000 times your stake.
Just as with the original, it includes a respin feature. If the mischevious little Leprechaun lands on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5, the Rainbow Respin feature is triggered - the Leprechaun Wild expands to cover the full reel and remains sticky while the other reels spin again. Up to four respins can be triggered this way to give you a maximum of four wild reels. This is also where much of the potential is allocated although the base game with its plethora of win ways has enough capacity to dish out some extraordinary wins as well.
