3 Pots of Destiny Slot
Three different Hold & Win variations give 3 Pots of Destiny more flexibility than its otherwise conventional setup might suggest. Popiplay divides them between three colour-coded pots, with one providing an extra respin, another creating a second grid and the third introducing multiplier overlays. Add a separate Free Spins feature and an unusually strong 97.04% RTP, and there is more substance here than the familiar Aztec treasure theme initially implies.
The game uses 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines, with stakes ranging from €0.20 to €25. Wilds substitute for regular paying symbols, while three types of Feature Coins are linked to the pots above the grid. Green Coins feed the Extra Pot, Purple Coins the Double Pot and Red Coins the Multi Pot. Landing the relevant Coins adds progress to a pot and can eventually activate its corresponding Hold & Win feature. Jackpot symbols can also contribute towards this process.

A regular Hold & Win starts with 3 respins, with the triggering Feature Coin becoming a normal Coin while retaining its position and value. Coins are worth 1x to 30x the bet, and each new Coin resets the counter to 3. The round ends when the respins run out or all 20 positions have been occupied. Completely filling the grid awards the 10,000x Grand Jackpot.
Each pot modifies this framework differently. The green Extra Pot increases the starting counter from 3 to 4 respins. The purple Double Pot creates two independent grids and duplicates the triggering Coin across both, with other active modifiers applying to both boards. The red Multi Pot adds multiplier overlays ranging from x1 to x10. These affect Coin prizes and can stack together. Multiple modifiers can also be active at once, giving the Hold & Win considerably more scope when the pot mechanics combine.
Free Spins provide a separate route away from the Coin features. Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters awards 8, 10 or 12 Free Spins respectively, during which any Wild that appears becomes sticky for the remainder of the feature. There is also an extensive purchase menu where available. Extra, Double and Multi Hold & Win cost 55x, 65x and 70x the bet, while Random costs 80x, all Hold & Win features together cost 200x, and Free Spins are priced at 60x.
3 Pots of Destiny doesn't disguise where its inspiration comes from. Ancient temples, coloured pots, Coins and Hold & Win respins are all extremely well travelled territory, and the regular game appears largely concerned with waiting for one of its features to arrive. The three modifiers at least give Popiplay's version some useful variety, particularly when Double and Multi are combined, while the separate sticky-Wild bonus prevents everything from revolving around Coin respins.
More importantly, the RTP is excellent and the 10,000x ceiling provides a respectable target. It is another entry in an overcrowded category, but the strong mathematics and ability to combine its three Hold & Win modifiers help 3 Pots of Destiny rise above the most basic examples of the format.
