War (Evolution Gaming) - How to Play

War is a simple and fast-paced card game with the aim of predicting if your card will rank higher than the dealer's card.
- The game is played with eight standard 52-card decks (excluding Jokers).
- Ace has the highest card value (2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A).
- Card suits are not relevant in this game.
Betting Phase
At the beginning of each round, you can place a chip on the main bet, side bet or both. It is possible to opt-in only for the side bet without placing the main bet.
Main Game Round
After the betting time is over, you and the dealer are dealt one face-up card each. Whoever has the highest-ranking card wins the round.

Tie Outcome
In the scenario where you and the dealer receive a card of the same rank, it is a 'Tie'. You now have to make a decision — do you 'Surrender' or 'Go To War'? If the decision time runs out and you don't choose any of these two options, you will automatically 'Surrender'.
Surrender
In this game, opting to 'Surrender' means losing half of your bet and the game round ends for the player, but potentially not for others. You might choose this option if you believe the odds of receiving a higher card than the dealer's are uncertain.
Go To War
Alternatively, if you are a thrill-seeker aiming for potentially bigger wins, you can choose to 'Go To War'. In this case, you must double your main bet and continue the round. Once you have made your decision, the dealer will discard three cards face-down before dealing each of you an additional card face-up. If your card beats the dealer's, you win your doubled bet and original wager is a push.
However, if the dealer's card surpasses yours, you lose. If a 'Tie' occurs again during the ongoing 'War', the same process is repeated until there is a winner (four consecutive 'Ties' is the limit for each round). If there are multiple 'Ties' in a row, the round continues with your existing doubled bet, and no additional bets are allowed. You may choose to 'Go To War' only once, during your first 'Tie'. If there are multiple consecutive 'Ties', you no longer have the option to decide and will immediately 'Go To War' with your doubled bet. Each round has a limit of four 'Ties', and the round
will finish after the fourth consecutive 'Tie'.
