For the sixth year in a row, the Bigwinboard Awards are back, and once again, they belong entirely to the community. What started as a small way to highlight what players actually care about has grown into one of the biggest and most closely followed online slot community awards in the industry.
In a landscape where a lot of awards quietly lean on backdoor deals or outsourcing the project to freelancers who do not understand the community, or even nominating their own in-house projects and collaborations, the Bigwinboard Awards take a different path. No bought placements. No “friendly favours”. Just data, trends, and the people who actually play the games.
How the nominees are chosen
The 2025 nominees weren’t picked in a boardroom. They earned their spot. Throughout the year, we’ve tracked what genuinely moved the needle on Bigwinboard – which games and studios you clicked, revisited, and kept coming back to.
Using Google Analytics, combined with additional traffic and interest checks, we’ve built the shortlist around actual performance and real player engagement, not marketing budgets. If it trended with our community, it had a chance. If it didn’t, it’s not on the list. Simple as that.
Fully in the hands of the community
Once the nominees are set, we step back. From there, it’s entirely up to you. Voting for the 2025 Bigwinboard Awards will be open for 7 days, from December 8 to December 14, giving the whole community time to log in, think it over, and cast their votes. There’s no jury override, no “editor’s choice” quietly weighting the outcome – the results are driven by the votes you submit.
Categories you can vote in
This year, you’ll be able to vote across several key categories:
- Best Game Studio – The studio that delivered consistently and mattered most to you in 2025.
- Best Innovator – The team pushing ideas, mechanics, or formats forward rather than just following the pack.
- Best Newcomer – A newer studio that made enough noise to stand out in a crowded space.
- Best Slot – The single game that defined the year for you, whether through design, mechanics, wins, or sheer time spent playing.
You can participate in any or all of the categories – it’s up to you how deep you want to go.
Why it matters
Awards only mean something if they reflect reality for players. That’s why this whole process is built around two pillars: what the community has actually been playing and what the community wants to reward. If you want to see more transparency and less theatre in this industry, this is your way of signalling what deserves attention. Studios watch these results. So do other players. Your vote has weight.

From December 8-14, log in to Bigwinboard, head to the Awards page, and cast your votes. Whether you’re backing a favourite studio, supporting a new name, or championing that one slot you couldn’t put down this year, this is your space to make it count. To reduce the risk of coordinated voting or mass mobilisation, only accounts at least 20 days old are eligible to vote.
