Can we really win big on No Limit games without paying extra for bonus buys or special extras?

I keep reading about No Limit games being a favourite. Other than one lucky 1000$ win on Mental on a 1$ regular spin, I don’t see the allure. I have had thousands of spins on No Limit games. from 60 cents to 4$ a spin and when I tell you that I see nothing enticing, I don’t get it. The graphics are cool and different and strange, but, I see nothing even remotely enticing about regular spin bonuses. What am I not getting?

Thousands might not be enough.
I probably have a million or so on NLC games. If you play more you shall eventually get there.
Had 3 5000x+ Wins from base game.
Plus some other nice wins 1000x-5000x from base game or regular bonus.

It's possible! I've had around 500x - 1kx wins on base game from just turboing NLC slots. I can't say the same for max wins though as I've yet to capture one. I'm only convinced they are on extra bets and bonus buys to say the least.

If the game has a max win that's around 100k spins (150k Nine to Five, 98k Brick Snake), if you spam the slot on the first day you got a decent chance of maxing it since a lot of people are playing at the same time.
I just spun those slots because of the max win chance, my thought process was that if there are 10k players spinning at the same time, someone would get a max win every 15 spins. Meanwhile, if there are only 100 players playing the slot, it would give 1 max every 1500 spins.
Definitely possible I had a huge hit a while back on land of the free I think it was. But, agreed the special bets and bonus buys help...
Well, I actually have hit multipliers of up to x5000 in the base game. The thing is, the volatility is so high and it burns through your money really fast 😥
NLC extra bets (bonus one) are often cheap, though. I think a user here got like a 40,000x win on Tombstone Slaughter w/ the +20% extra bet.
