Raidmark Slot (Mini Review)
Raidmark is a Viking-themed slot from Hacksaw partner Ace Roll built around expanding wild reels, escalating multipliers, and two separate free spin modes. The central mechanic revolves around character-based wild symbols that expand to cover entire reels whenever they contribute to a winning combination.
Different Viking wilds carry different multiplier ranges. Rookie Viking Wilds award between 2x and 10x, Raider Vikings increase that range to 15x through 50x, while Veteran Viking Wilds can land massive 100x or 200x multipliers. If several expanded wild reels connect within the same win, all multiplier values are added together before being applied. The first main bonus feature, ONWARD, is triggered by landing 3 FS symbols. Players receive 10 free spins plus an additional dice-roll reward worth between 1 and 12 extra spins, meaning the feature always begins with anywhere from 11 to 22 spins in total.
Landing 4 FS symbols activates the stronger THE MARK OF RAID bonus. This version uses the same dice-roll system for awarding extra spins, but changes how the wilds behave. Here, every wild expands automatically when it lands, regardless of whether it forms part of a winning combination, and expanded wilds also gain a chance to remain sticky for future spins.
Several optional betting systems are available as well. Bonushunt increases the stake by 3x while making free spins 5 times more likely to trigger naturally. Disembark costs 50x and guarantees two expanding wilds per spin, although free spin symbols are removed from play. Bonus buy access to ONWARD costs 100x, while THE MARK OF RAID costs 200x.

Raidmark clearly wants the expanding wilds to carry the entire experience, and to be fair, those moments are easily the strongest part of the slot. Watching full reels expand with stacked multipliers attached can create genuinely satisfying hits when multiple wilds connect together across the reels.
The issue is that everything surrounding those moments feels surprisingly thin. Outside of the expanding wild mechanic, there is not much depth to the gameplay loop, and the base game in particular can feel repetitive very quickly while waiting for the features to finally arrive. The Viking setting also does the game very few favours. Between Norse mythology, raiders, axes, and longboats, this is another theme the slot industry has recycled to exhaustion over the years, making Raidmark struggle to establish much personality beyond its multiplier wilds.
Ace Roll still feels like a studio trying to settle into its own identity, and Raidmark reflects that. The foundations are decent enough, especially during the stronger bonus feature when sticky expanding wilds begin stacking together, but much of the surrounding gameplay lacks the energy or creativity needed to make the slot truly memorable.
