Relax Gaming has officially unveiled Money Train 5, the next chapter in one of the most popular online slot franchises of the past decade.
The announcement follows a recent teaser campaign that sparked considerable discussion among slot fans and industry observers. Scheduled to launch on 24 September 2026, Money Train 5 continues a series that began with the original Money Train and later expanded with three additional follow ups.
Over the years, the Money Train brand has built a strong reputation among players who enjoy high-volatility slots, feature-rich bonus rounds, bonus buy options, and the potential for substantial payouts. According to Relax Gaming, the upcoming release aims to take those elements even further by delivering increased volatility, greater risk, and more dramatic bonus sequences.
Tony O’Mahony, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming, described the series as one of the few slot brands capable of generating excitement before a new title is even revealed. He explained that the development team wanted to do more than simply recreate previous games, instead focusing on introducing new layers of unpredictability and reward potential.
At the time of writing, Relax Gaming has not released the complete feature list for Money Train 5. Important details such as RTP, maximum win potential, bonus buy pricing, and demo availability remain unconfirmed.
However, the studio has stated that the game will stay true to the core identity of the series while placing an even stronger emphasis on high-risk gameplay and volatile bonus features. Relax Gaming CEO Martin Stålros noted that expectations surrounding the franchise are extremely high and suggested that the latest instalment is designed to be larger in scale, more unpredictable, and more ambitious than its predecessors.
Money Train 5 is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated slot releases of 2026. One of the biggest questions ahead of launch is whether Relax Gaming will continue using the familiar Money Cart bonus mechanics or introduce entirely new gameplay systems for the fifth entry.
