Unfortunately, getting to the interesting stuff doesn't make the rest of Totem Tower Bonanza any less monotonous. The Aztec/jungle presentation is bland, the base game can be painfully short on meaningful action, and even the better bonus mechanics struggle to give the game much personality. There is some potential when those expanding Totems start stacking multipliers, but not enough to make Totem Tower Bonanza particularly memorable.
