Granny vs Zombies 2 Slot

Pear Fiction Studios returns to its zombie-infested neighbourhood for Granny VS Zombies 2, but this is more than a simple repeat of the original. Granny now has an expanding arsenal of weapons, increasingly valuable zombies to fight and a progression system that gradually unlocks stronger versions of both. The cartoon apocalypse remains deliberately silly rather than sinister, and the additional action gives the sequel a busier feel without abandoning the personality of the first game.

The action takes place on a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines, while much of the gameplay revolves around Cash and Zombie symbols carrying prizes. Collect weapons appear on reel 5 and gather the available values, with more powerful versions unlocked by progressing along the base-game trail. Boost Collect increases a random prize by 1x-100x the bet, Split Collect duplicates values, while Multiplier Collect fires 2-5 shots carrying multipliers from x2 to x25. X-Loot Collect gathers the available prizes multiple times, and the eventual Max Collect boosts Cash and Zombie values before converting empty positions into additional Cash symbols.

Zombies provide another side to that progression. Landing one on reel 1 alongside a Collect weapon on reel 5 starts Showdown Collect, expanding both symbols while Cash prizes lock and 3 respins begin. The Zombie can consume Cash symbols to increase its own value and reset the respins. Stronger enemies are gradually unlocked, starting with Dr Cortex at 2x the bet and progressing through Alfred and Karen to Bob at 12x. Bob also expands the three middle reels to seven rows when involved in a Showdown.

Coloured Coins can activate up to four pots and award 6, 8, 10 or 12 Power Spins depending on how many are triggered. Each pot introduces a different Zone: Expand increases every reel to seven rows, Split duplicates Cash symbols, Boost increases their values and CashMax raises affected prizes to match the highest Cash value currently visible. LootCollect triggers also advance a separate Power Spins trail, with extra spins awarded at several milestones and collection multipliers eventually increasing to x2 and x5. Direct entry costs 100x the bet with a random selection of pots or 500x with all four active.

There's a lot packed into Granny VS Zombies 2, although accessing everything naturally requires commitment. The persistent trail means the earlier stages don't offer the complete set of weapons and enemies, with repeated LootCollect triggers needed to open the stronger mechanics. That approach gives longer sessions something to work towards, but players who prefer every feature to be immediately available may find the progression restrictive. The default 96.00% RTP is acceptable rather than impressive, while alternative versions fall to 94.02% and 92.04%.

As sequels go, Granny VS Zombies 2 makes a reasonable effort to develop its predecessor rather than merely reproduce it. The growing arsenal makes LootCollect increasingly elaborate, Showdown gives the zombie characters an actual gameplay role, and Power Spins combine the unlocked mechanics with another layer of modifiers and progression. None of the individual ideas are particularly unfamiliar in modern cash-collect slots, and the 5,000x ceiling is fairly restrained, but their combination produces a feature-rich game with considerably more character than the average collect-symbol release.
