Joker Strike is a pimped up version of Second Strike and the first slot by Quickspin to use a Highroller feature
If you’ve ever played Quickspins old version Second Strike, then you will feel pretty much at home straight away. It makes use of the same setup with 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 paylines. Players can bet from 0.10 all the way up to 100 Euro per spin.
With this new version however, Quickspin have decided to implement a so called Highroller feature. When clicking the Highroller button, players are presented with 3 options.
- For a cost of 20 times the bet you will get 5 spins + guaranteed wild. Extra wild symbols moves clockwise around the reels.
- For a cost of 30 times the bet you will get 5 spins, guaranteed wild + wild strike. Wilds on outer wheel awarding wilds in Joker Strike feature.
- For a cost of 50 times the bet you will get 5 spins, guaranteed wild, wild strike + double chance. Extra marker on the outer wheel doubles chance of hitting Joker Strike feature.
The way this game works is, when you get a winning spin, the outer wheel surrounding the reel set comes into play – something known as the Joker Strike feature. The winning symbols are highlighted on the wheel and if the light stops on a lit symbol, you’ll get a strike. Then more of that symbol will be randomly added to the reel set with a new payout to follow. If you get a win with a Joker wild and the wheel stops on a lit Joker, 2 wild symbols per joker are added to the reels for huge wins.
