Laser Fruit (Red Tiger): 100 Bonuses

We played 100 bonuses on Red Tiger’s first mega potential slot, Laser Fruit, and this is what we have to show for it.

In case you missed the news, here’s our review of Red Tiger’s upcoming online slot Laser Fruit. It’s quite an interesting game that is very different from anything previously released by this provider. Not only does it come with a record number of possible paylines ever seen in a slot (over 60 million), but it also has a much higher max win than usual with it’s 10,000x potential.

Naturally, in a high variance slot like this, most bonuses will be relatively low in return and that’s how high variance slots work in order to be able to collect credits for those insane dream wins. It’s no different from any other high variance game in that sense.

As you can imagine, it took us quite a long time to play through all the 100 bonuses, especially considering that the game is very generous with retriggers and amount of free spins. It can actually retrigger up to 10 times according to the game info, and each retrigger can reward the player with up to 50 spins, so theoretically you could end up with 550 free spins (50 inital spins + 10 x 50 spins).

For the bonus hunt we did €1 bets just to make the xbet wins easy to calculate. Also, the xbet wins were rounded up or down so a 55,7x win is marked as a 56x win.

Please note that a game like Laser Fruit is quite high in it’s variance. This means that playing through 100 bonuses is not nearly enough to draw any definate conclusions about the game or it’s potential. A volatile game like this will in most cases pay out relatively small winnings in order to collect funds for the super huge jackpots, which of course are very rare. It’s simply the nature of the beast.

Statistics are always a bit tricky since they require some background information and knowledge to make sense, especially when comparing to other games. For example, when compared to the 100 bonus test we recently did on White Rabbit, the average win on Laser Fruit was notably lower (83x vs 46x). The same goes for the lowest bonus wins and the number of 100x+ wins where White Rabbit also scored better. One has to take into concideration however that the bonuses on White Rabbit were purchased for 100 times the stake using the Feature Drop option. It makes sense that the returns on average would be higher with such a high bonus cost. In other words, the investement in bonuses was much higher in White Rabbit.
