And yet, it does also seem like the studio just wacked some recognisable graphics over a premade engine. There is nothing Assassin-ish about the features; no new modifier has been created to celebrate the video game/slot crossover. In fact, technically speaking, Assassin's Creed Mirage x is basically Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Ultimate Double X, which was linked to UFC Gold Blitz Ultimate, which was in turn linked to Gold Blitz Ultimate. What it means is a repeat gaming experience for players who have been following the Gold Blitz Ultimate release schedule, which is great if you like this sort of thing, but otherwise it's kind of like The Lego Movie, when Emmet Brickowski thought he was 'The Special' only to later learn that anyone can be special, in their own way.

Some original features would have been appreciated, though, as the reliance on tried and true gaming means the studio has played it much safer than the hooded hero of the video game. As a result, Assassin's Creed Mirage x feels less like a Leap of Faith and more like a calculated hop.
