Donuts was released in 2018 and was a warmly received slot, and while the follow-ups Pop and Chocolates might not have reached the same levels of belovedness, they were fine games in their own right. Burgers is another good one, and while it's arguably not as freshly prepared as Donuts, coming out 6 years later, no less, there is definite meat on what might seem a relatively small, demure-looking slot. From a presentation standpoint, following so obviously on from Donuts felt far more positive than negative, like sliding into a chair at your favourite eat-out spot and getting freaky by trying something new on the menu.

The new bits for this particular series are the multiplier sharing symbols on the lower Bonus Reel and the way they're able to pep payouts. They do this by interacting with burger symbols or wilds above, dumping their multiplier values on them like melted cheese. Just like everything's better with cheese on top, so winning ways are better with a multiplier, and in the base game, this system can produce wins of up to 10,000x the bet. However, since Ice multipliers are progressive in free spins, during that phase of play, the max win blossoms to an eye-watering 102,840 times the bet, annihilating Donuts' numbers.

One of Burgers' potential issues is that being so similar to Donuts in many ways, it risks not having as strong a personality of its own.
