Does the claimed RTP by slot provider is even real?

I still wonder if the claimed rtp even real for good cause when we play the 96.3% rtp it feels like under 45% rtp tbh.
Yeah, the game says 96% RTP, but it often feels more like 45% or less... Even when casinos offer promotional RTP boosts, it can still be rough... In the end, it’s all down to luck - just how it is with slots
For streamers with fake funds, yes it is! But for regular players it's just advertising illusion.
always good to remember that its entirely theoretical over billions of spins, so you can easily hit a huge dry streak of payouts on a slot before anything is returned at all. just comes down to luck for sure. if you had a huge bankroll and played every single day on small bets thousands of spins at the end of the year you still might not be close to advertised RTP because of how your variance and luck can go.

indeed thats why imo the RTP statistic is absolutely useless for the average player unless you obsessively play only one slot through your entire life
only one rule matters and thats the house always wins
Imagine a bookmaker offering odds on the big race between the racehorse and the snail. You can back the racehorse and make 10p profit on your £10000 bet or bet on the snail and get £9700 profit on your 10p bet. Slots, especially the newer high volatility ones are like the 2nd one. Many high volatility slots you will get much less than the stated RTP but that's part of the model, some lucky people will witness the day the snail wins. if you want your RTP to pretty much match the theory, play low volatility.
RTP is calculated over billions of spins and the TRTP is an indication of what to expect, with no guarantee. For me personally, RTP, together with a lot of Luck and sometimes a bif skill is needed to come out with a profitable session.
Luck being the majority consideration. Skill is knowing the signs when the slot is hot or cold or knowing when to leave the slot.
Personally I can notice the 96% RTP on certain games only on PP, like Z VS H, Pompei Mega reels MW and a few others. If I play the 96% RTP version base game hits occur often and alot of winning spins but free spins feature sucks!
If I play 94% the base game sucks but free spins give more easily 1000x or more.
And I get the feeling AI place a role, but not saying its factual. on PP if In win big, its like the provider can remember and no matter where I play, it rips me into pieces.
I prefer the 94% over the 96% om certain providers.
So yes Pragamtic in my local casinos are 96%, but I did 10 Sugar Rush 1000 super bonuses and not one of them were profit, I think those combined outcome came around the low 60 RTP return.
But in the international market the experience is different.
The claimed RTP (Return to Player) by slot providers is real in theory, but it's based on millions of spins under controlled conditions. In real play, results vary wildly, and the RTP is often audited, but not always, especially on unregulated sites.
Casinos choose the level of rtp they provide their players. It is shocking to me why not more people are talking about this. The license providers like Curacao, they allow casinos to have the sofware reduce the rtp as low as 80%. It's highly manipulated.
