When we first got introduced to the vintage-looking character ‘Canny the Can’ in the slot Stick ‘Em back in 2019, few had yet heard of independent developer Hacksaw Gaming. As a matter of fact, it was Stick ‘Em that was to become Hacksaw’s big breakthrough release and which would propel them through the ranks. Now, of course, Hacksaw has become a household name in the iGaming world, regularly featured in casino streams and big win compilations. The studio, meanwhile, has stuck to its winning formula of creating exceptionally unique games whilst refining each new release along the way.
Fast forward a couple of years and it’s time for jolly old ‘Canny’ to make a comeback. Confusingly similar in name to the original, Stack ‘Em is a cluster pays slot in which Canny and his new sidekick ‘Mona the Mouse’ bop and whistle along as players hope for wins such as the one featured here. Played using a 5×6 grid, the atmosphere is light and chirpy, as it often tends to be when it comes to the worlds created by Hacksaw. The stats are dependable too, both when it comes to RTP and maximum potential, clocking in at 96.20% and 10,000 times the stake respectively. The hit frequency, however, is a tad low at 10.56%, which sort of makes Stack ‘Em more similar to fruit slot gaming than modern video slots, and which, in combination with high volatility, can be rather brutal at times.
The player landing the win in this clip had none of those problems as you’ll see. Having triggered the bonus on a 10 SEK bet (approx 1 EUR), the game immediately went into multiplier collection mode. A few seconds in, and the total win multiplier is already up to 41x with all 5 hearts fully loaded. The game soon starts to seriously ramp things up as an X symbol drops to multiply the 59x win multiplier five times, resulting in a total win multiplier of 295x.
For a good while, it all then keeps building slowly but steadily, until the very end when a total of 12 wild symbols connect to form a massive win with the help of the accumulated 601x win multiplier. With one heart still left in reserve, the game abruptly shuts down as the max win limit of 10,000x is reached. It’s unlikely the player was too disappointed, though, having banked 100,000 SEK, or roughly 10,000 Euros, as a result of the lucky round.
