Season of Fortune Slot (Mini Review)
Season of Fortune from Slotmill is a 6x6 cluster slot dressed up for Christmas, but under the festive coat it's essentially a straight reskin of King of the Streets. It plays smoothly and looks charming enough, yet there's nothing here you haven't already seen in the original - which makes it fine for December, but fairly pointless once the holiday mood fades.
Wins trigger cascades, leaving wilds behind and clearing room for new symbols. Coin clusters can build into larger cash values, and Multiplier Presents reveal random boosts up to x500 at the end of a spin. The free spins round adds a persistent multiplier meter, while the Super version keeps collected Coins on the grid for repeated chances to win them again. A Fast Track menu lets you buy into multipliers or bonus rounds directly, including 10 Super Free Spins for a hefty 500x. The math model is solid and the 15,000x max win gives the game some punch, but the gameplay follows the same flow as its non-festive counterpart.
Season of Fortune nails the Christmas atmosphere, cosy cottage, glowing lights, winter backdrop, but it doesn't bring anything new to Slotmill's cluster formula. As a seasonal release it works, but outside the holidays it's just another themed clone in an already crowded lineup.
