Sizzling Spins Introduction

So it's finally time for another high variance slot from Play'n GO again after a few mediocre releases. This one will make you smell the bacon for sure, and not only that - it's the first slot by Play'n GO with a win-all-ways setup (to the best of our knowledge at least). Most importantly, however, Sizzling Spins, as it is called, has decent win potential and a couple of interesting features that we will go through below.

Sizzling Spins is a 5-reel, 3-row online slot with 243 ways to win, which can expand to 1024 ways in the free spins game. It is playable on all devices from €0.20 to €100 and is capped at €500,000. Included in the main game is a feature called Hot Reels, and if you trigger the free spins there are other fun stuff waiting for you.

This game, as you can probably tell by yourself, has a summer/BBQ theme played on an actual grill to the sound of sizzling effects and rock licks

Sizzling Spins Symbols & Paytable

There are 9 regular symbols included in the game. The 5 low-value symbols are represented by mushrooms, cucumber slices, tomatoes, onions, and corns. The 4 high-value symbols are represented by prawns, chicken wings, sausages, and ribs. The ribs are the most rewarding and are worth 10 times your bet for 5 on a payline. The symbols are not stacked on the reels which makes it impossible to land a full screen of any regular symbol.

Aside from the from the regular symbols, there is also a Foil Blocker symbol which is only useful when it lands on a hot reel, otherwise, it will just block your wins.

The scatter symbol is represented by a Chilli and has an important function in the free spins game.

Sizzling Spins Hot Reel Feature

One Hot Reel is activated on reel 1, 3 or 5 on every initial spin. Any Foil Blockers landing on a Hot Reel turns into wilds, which triggers a re-spin in which the Hot Reel is held. On the re-spin, another reel fires up to become a Hot Reel. If you activate another wild on the new Hot Reel, another re-spin is awarded. Re-spins continue until all 5 reels are hot, or no more wilds are activated.

On a re-spin, any reel can become a Hot Reel. If a wild lands on the Hot Reel on the 4th and final re-spin, any wins on that re-spin are multiplied by 2.

Sizzling Spins Free Spins

Choose a Chilli to reveal the number of free spins

The free spins feature is triggered when 3 Chilli scatter symbols have landed on the reels. When this happens you get to select one of the Chilli scatters to reveal how many free spins you have won -  8, 10 or 12.

The free spins game is played on a different reel set which is now expanded to 4 rows, increasing the paylines to 1024 ways. Just like in the main game, there Hot Reels feature applies here as well, but with a major benefit - ALL Foil blockers are turned into wilds, whether or not they land on the Hot Reel. The Foil Blocker symbols that do however land on a Hot Reel will initiate a re-spin.

The scatter symbol plays an important role in the free spins mode and collecting them increases your multiplier as follows:

  • 3 Chilli symbols awards x2 multiplier
  • 6 Chilli symbols awards x3 multiplier
  • 9 Chilli symbols awards x5 multiplier

Sizzling Spins Conclusion

This one became an instant summer favorite and if you're into high variance you probably going to like it too. The main game is very low potential although the Hot Reels feature is there to keep it a bit more interesting than it would otherwise have been. All the tasty stuff is in the bonus where you can land a total of 5000x with the help of the x5 multiplier. We also liked the fact that it is a win-all-ways type slot, which we hope we will see more of coming from Play'n GO!

Sizzling Spins is a high variance slot with a 96.49% RTP and is available across all Play'n GO casinos.
