Gods Gone Wild: Slot Overview
Gods Gone Wild is an online slot from developer AvatarUX, which isn't about deities hurling lightning bolts at people or causing mass environmental destruction. Instead, this is about the gods letting their hair down and taking a moment or two to enjoy some special me time. As well as a party angle (which isn't really explored much), Gods Gone Wild is a scatter pays slot delivering cascades, Expanding Wilds, Multiplier Kegs, free spins with a progressive Party Time feature, and bonus buys.
If the gods in Gods Gone Wild are planning to go large, it doesn't look like it from the base game or the bonus round, for that matter. Instead, the location is actually quite peaceful, quite laid back, where steps lead up to a gaming matrix flanked by two statues wielding lightning bolts. The music is relaxed, the environment breezy; perhaps this is the calm before a titanic rage up kicks off. The atmosphere remains about the same in free spins, though, where a blue sheen over the background is about all that differentiates the two phases of play audiovisually.

Gods Gone Wild is a highly volatile slot where players are able to wager 10 c to £/€100 per paid spin. It has an optional ante bet, which adds 50% to the stake when activated to provide 1.5x the chance of entering free spins. The default RTP is 96.063%, and hitting the play button drops 30 symbols onto a 6-reel, 5-row gaming grid.
Pay symbols are J-A card ranks on the lower side and 5 character symbols at the higher end. Wilds substitute for all symbols on the reels except scatters. As a scatter pays slot, winning combinations are created when at least 8 matching symbols are in view anywhere on the gaming grid. Winning symbols are removed from the reels, and the spaces are filled by existing symbols dropping downwards and new symbols falling in from above. Cascades repeat till no new win appears.
Gods Gone Wild: Slot Features

Gods Gone Wild's features are Expanding Wilds, free spins with Multiplier Kegs, Party Time progression, and Xpress bonus buys.
Expanding Wilds & Multiplier Kegs
At random, a wild feature may be triggered. Each wild has its own multiplier ranging in value from x2 to x10 and appears as a 2-3 symbol stack. The Multiplier Kegs, meanwhile, appear at random on spins and cascades in the bonus round only, carrying multiplier values of x2 to x100. They are applied to the total win after the final cascade.
Free Spins
Hitting 4 or more scatter symbols triggers the free spins round. During free spins, each win fills the progression bar by +1 position. Now, Party Time is activated after 10 wins (awarding +3 free spins in the process) where there are higher chances of getting Expanding Wilds and where the Multiplier Kegs are semi-sticky.
Xpress
Opening the Xpress page is where players may buy 10 free spins for 60x, 12 free spins for 120x, or 15 free spins for 400x the bet.

Gods Gone Wild: Slot Verdict
Imagine a party thrown by the gods with no budget, no time constraints, and no tiredness; shoot, anything might be possible. It's quite a thought, so it's a slight shame that AvatarUX didn't explore the idea more in Gods Gone Wild, which lacks a major partying spirit. Instead, the vibe is surprisingly restrained, muted even, and a bit of extra revelling wouldn't have gone amiss. Ah, well, people like to enjoy their time in various ways, from week-long bacchanalias, which would shock Keith Richards, to quietly reading a book on the couch with a purring cat on their lap. Maybe it's the same for divine beings as well?
As for Gods Gone Wild's gameplay, okay, there was a whiff of Sweet Bonanza to the proceedings. Scatter pays with cascades and multiplier symbols in a free spins round is a classic combo, after all. The game doesn't have the same progressive element that scatter pays mega-popular slot Gates of Olympus does, holding onto a global multiplier, but it does have the progressive Party Time aspect. Collecting enough wins to actually trigger Party Time wasn't easy, though there did seem to be a noticeable difference in the number of Multiplier Kegs when Party Time was active, not to mention their sticky upgrade.
Gods Gone Wild's max win is capped at 10,000 times the bet, so things can get pretty wild up in here. It wouldn't have been the worst thing if the game had cut loose a bit more, went a bit crazier on the presentation side, but apart from that, this is a playable Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza alternative possessing an altered set of features to experiment with.
In Short
It’s not as wild as anticipated, but Gods Gone Wild is a playable scatter pays slot offering features not available with certain competitors.
