Brute Force Alien Onslaught: Slot Overview
Successfully defending the planet from an alien invasion would be a joyous occasion, but one possibly tinged with weariness, knowing that sooner or later, a second wave may begin. So it has arrived in developer Nolimit City's online slot Brute Force Alien Onslaught, a follow-up to the 2024 banger Brute Force, which pitted buffed heroes Jason and Joshua against Hyper and his forces. The duo have dispatched the blue skinned baddy, but instead of celebrating, they've been thrown back into the breach against a new adversary name Xylox, in a sequel that's buffer, and more willing to kick (or be kicked by) alien butt than ever before.
Like the original, aspects of Brute Force Alien Onslaught are like being a kid again, emptying your piggy bank of coins and cycling to the nearest video game arcade with your mates to save the game world from evil aliens. The bleeps, the graphics, the background 2D scroller, Brute Force Alien Onslaught is a misty-eyed nostalgic trip to the past for gamblers old enough to remember when cutting-edge video games looked a lot blockier than they do today. Blonde and blue hair beefcakes Joshua and Jason return for another tour of duty, and have been bolstered by a new mercenary named Jade, a woman who looks like she doesn't take any crap whether it's been flung from humans, aliens, or whatever.

A lot of things in Brute Force Alien Onslaught are larger than they were before, and this applies to the gaming area. This time, symbols land on a 6-reel, 5-row grid, with 30 paylines evaluating winning combinations left to right from the leftmost side. Volatility has stayed Extreme (10 out of 10), while the maximum RTP has dipped to 96.01%, and the stake range is 20 c to $/€100 per spin.
Brute Force Alien Onslaught's pay symbols are split into lower value 10-A royals and five higher paying alien symbols. Royal wins of 6 symbols in length pay 2.5x the bet, going up to 3x to 24x when hitting 6 matching aliens. When a wild symbol appears, it randomly transforms all low-paying symbols on the reels to higher-paying symbols. If xNudge symbols make a 6 OAK win, it also pays 24x.
Brute Force Alien Onslaught: Slot Features

Brute Force Alien Onslaught packs a chunkier arsenal consisting of several xNudge Wild symbols, multipliers, five bonus games, boosters, and feature buys.
xNudge Wilds
There are 4 types of xNudge Wilds, which land stacked and always nudge to cover the reel. Joshua, Jason, and Jade xNudge Wilds update a random multiplier at the bottom of them when fully stacked. The Xylox xNudge Wild combines the values of all other xNudge Wilds and adds them to its own. The various xNudge Wilds have different possible nudge multiplier values.
- Joshua xNudge Wild - each nudge increases the win multiplier by +1, and the maximum multiplier value that can be awarded is x7.
- Jason xNudge Wild - each nudge increases the win multiplier by +2, and the maximum multiplier value that can be awarded is x15.
- Jade xNudge Wild - each nudge increases the win multiplier by +5, and the maximum multiplier value that can be awarded is x40.
- Xylox xNudge Wild - each nudge increases the win multiplier by +1. When it lands for the first time, it collects multipliers from Joshua, Jason, and Jade. If it becomes sticky, it keeps collecting multipliers from non-sticky Joshua, Jason, and Jade xNudge Wilds till the round ends. Another +1 is awarded when the nudge completes.
The xNudge Meter summarises the xNudge multiplier values on the winning symbols.

Free Spins
Brute Force Alien Onslaught is equipped with no less than five free spins bonus rounds:
- REDemption Spins - landing 3 scatters, including at least 2 red scatters, triggers 10 REDemption Spins. The Xylox xNudge Wild is always sticky when it lands. Joshua xNudge Wild does not land in this feature.
- Super REDemption Spins - landing 4 scatters, including at least 3 red scatters, triggers 10 Super REDemption Spins. Xylox xNudge Wild is always sticky when it lands. Joshua and Jason xNudge Wild do not land in this feature.
- BLU Genesis Spins - landing 3 scatters, including at least 2 blue scatters, triggers 10 BLU Genesis Spins. Joshua, Jason, and Jade xNudge Wilds may become sticky, while Xylox xNudge Wilds are always sticky.
- Super BLU Genesis Spins - landing 4 scatters, including at least 3 blue scatters, triggers 10 Super BLU Genesis Spins. Joshua, Jason, and Jade xNudge Wilds may become sticky, but a sticky Joshua xNudge Wild always lands on the first spin. Xylox xNudge Wilds are always sticky.
- Stellar Punishment Spins - landing 2 red and 2 blue scatters triggers 10 Stellar Punishment Spins. Jade xNudge may become sticky, and one always lands on the first spin, remaining sticky throughout the feature. Xylox xNudge is always sticky, and neither Joshua nor Jason xNudge Wilds land.
Nolimit Booster and Nolimit Bonus
xBoost 1 costs 4.6x and guarantees a scatter on the second reel, while xBoost 2 costs 32x and guarantees two scatters on reels 2 and 3. Players may buy a spin guaranteeing a minimum of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 xNudge Wilds for 40x, 220x, 750x, 2,500x, or 8,000x the bet, respectively. At a cost of 100x players can trigger REDemption/BLU Genesis Spins, or 800x triggers Stellar Punishment/Super REDemption/BLU Genesis Spins. At 450x, players can buy a lucky draw chance.

Brute Force Alien Onslaught: Slot Verdict
Progressing from Brute Force to Brute Force Alien Onslaught is like barely managing to clear the screen of baddies and making it to the next level, only to be greeted by an even greater wave of adversaries that can move faster and have bigger guns. Everything's bigger in Brute Force Alien Onslaught, from the grid to the features, winning potential, thrills, spills, and final finishing moves. The sequel has made what was something of a beast when it was released seem somehow small and inconsequential. That's not to say the original has lost its power to entertain, but the stakes are a lot higher now, the highs possibly higher, and the lows possibly lower.
In its defence, the most controversial things about these games are arguably their feature buys, and at 8,000x a pop, the 5 xNudge Wild booster is a towering challenge. It provided the most exciting parts of the demo, with outcomes that could be outrageous, in a good way. Getting just one of these buys wrong could punch a massive hole in the bankroll, though. As always, Nolimit Boosters are not mandatory, though it doesn't take huge amounts of imagination to picture some gamblers being drawn to them as if sucked in by a tractor beam, and the resulting big win clips are bound to attract clicks. Even if the rest of the game might not be as extreme, it's still pretty brutal out there, and Nolimit City's cherished xNudge Wild feature is rarely thrust into battle the way it is in Brute Force Alien Onslaught.
With all the expansion that has taken place between Brute Force and Alien Onslaught, any third, or beyond, instalment is a frightening proposal. Much of the sequel is already frightening as it is, but it is also able to deliver thrilling rides as well. It offers double the winning potential of 80,000x, and the full reel sticky xNudge Wilds/multiplier combo can be devastating, while the retro aesthetic pulls everything together into a tightly wound, deadly ball of destruction.
Brute Force Alien Onslaught takes everything to the next level with bigger features, higher stakes, and a thrilling experience, making it a great sequel for fans of the original.
