 Ted Stuffed & Loaded Slot

Blueprint Gaming has returned to Ted several times over the years (Ted Megaways being one example), so Stuffed & Loaded needs more than the familiar foul-mouthed bear to justify another visit. This time, the studio has gone for sheer quantity, combining three bonus rounds with persistent feature progression, cash collection, random modifiers and several additional prize mechanics. There is certainly no shortage of things to unlock, although fitting so much into one game also makes it considerably busier than the average slot.

The base game uses a 5x4 grid with 40 fixed paylines and revolves around Cash Prize and Collect Scatters. Cash Prizes carry values between 0.5x and 15x, which are collected whenever the appropriate Collect Scatter appears on reel 1 and/or 5. Ted can also appear after spins to trigger the Thunder Buddies modifier, but the more important element is the persistent progression system displayed above the reels.

Collect Scatters gradually unlock additional features as play continues. Remote Respin Collect becomes available after 2 Collects, followed by Beer Me Collect at 5, Seeing Double Collect at 8 and Psychedelic Dream Collect at 12, introducing additions such as respins, extra Cash Prizes, doubled values and cash boosts. Reaching 16 Collects unlocks the Reel of Fortune with prizes between 5x and 1,000x, while 20 opens the Ted-O-Meter. Filling that meter leads to the Wheel of Mystery and another selection of potential prizes.

Three coloured bonus pots provide the main feature rounds. Red represents Top Shelf Bonus Spins, Green triggers Bear Bucks and Blue is linked to Mellow Spins. One or two matching Scatters can randomly activate the corresponding bonus, while three or more guarantee it. Top Shelf awards 10 spins and uses a prize pyramid, Bear Bucks is a 3-spin hold-and-respin feature played on a 5x4 grid that can expand to 5x7, and Mellow Spins provides 10 spins featuring randomly positioned Mellow Zones.

There is plenty going on, but Ted Stuffed & Loaded is clearly designed around longer sessions rather than delivering everything immediately. The persistent unlock trail gives regular play a purpose and gradually opens more of the game, but it also means players dipping in for shorter sessions may never experience much of what makes the slot different. With so many meters, modifiers and bonuses competing for attention, the game can feel more complicated than it really needs to be. The 94% RTP is another significant drawback, but the 10,000x max win is respectable.

Ted Stuffed & Loaded is ultimately a game that prioritises progression and feature volume over simplicity. Blueprint has done a decent job of giving another Ted release its own identity, and unlocking additional mechanics over time is a better reason to keep playing than the licence alone. However, the low RTP and sheer number of interconnected features make it a fairly specific proposition. Existing Ted fans and players who enjoy Blueprint's persistent collection systems are likely to get the most from it, while anyone looking for something faster and more straightforward may find it unnecessarily loaded.
