Crown Frenzy LockNWin Slot
Crown Frenzy LockNWin is a PearFiction Studios slot built on expanding reels that can grow up to 7,776 ways to win, with high volatility, a 96% RTP, and a max win of 10,000x. It combines cash collect mechanics, respin features, jackpots, and the studio's familiar LockNWin bonus system. Bets range from €0.20 to €25, and if you've played other PearFiction releases recently, the setup will feel instantly familiar.
The theme is about as generic as it gets. Crowns, fruits, lucky sevens, horseshoes, diamonds, safes, and glowing red casino backgrounds make up the entire presentation. There's nothing offensively bad about it, but there's also nothing memorable. If somebody showed you a screenshot without the title, you'd struggle to distinguish it from dozens of other casino-themed slots released over the last decade.
The main mechanic comes from the TopGraderZ row above the reels. These symbols can add extra rows, increase coin values, apply multipliers, or help trigger the LockNWin bonus with upgrades already active. It's a mechanic PearFiction has been recycling for years now, and while it still works, there's very little surprise left if you've played previous entries.
Coins can land with values from 0.2x up to 100x the bet, while various Collect symbols on reel 5 gather those values in different ways. Standard Collect simply pays everything, Double Collect pays it twice, Respin Collect locks coins and respins the remaining positions, and Jumping Collect randomly boosts values before collecting them. These features provide most of the base game excitement since the regular symbol payouts are fairly unremarkable.

The LockNWin bonus follows the same hold-and-win template we've seen countless times before. Cash symbols lock in place, respins reset when new symbols land, and various upgrades can be active depending on how the feature starts. Dual Reels adds a second reel set, Multiply introduces bonus multipliers, and Supreme acts as a collector. It's functional, but there isn't much here that feels fresh.
The biggest issue is simply how recycled everything feels. This is effectively another variation of mechanics Pear Fiction has already used repeatedly, wrapped in an extremely bland casino theme. Even the review material itself points out how closely it resembles earlier games like 3 Lucky Hippos. If you've played one of these TopGraderZ/LockNWin titles before, you've essentially played this already.
Overall, Crown Frenzy LockNWin is difficult to get excited about. The 10,000x max win is respectable, the mechanics are proven, and fans of collector-style respin games will probably know exactly what they're getting. For everyone else, it feels like another reskin in an already overcrowded category. Competent, but highly forgettable.
