Elvis Presley: Burning Jackpots Slot

Octoplay has already produced several Elvis Presley slots, but Burning Jackpots does surprisingly little with one of the most recognisable entertainers in history. There is Elvis artwork and a suitably fiery backdrop, yet little of the music, personality or spectacle the licence could have supported. That's partly because the game is essentially Cash Storm: Hold & Win dressed in Elvis branding, with its existing collection mechanics carried across largely unchanged.

Everything takes place on a compact 3x3 grid with 5 paylines and low volatility. Stakes range from €0.10 to €400, the default RTP is 95.74%, and the maximum payout reaches only 2,250x the bet. Burning Wilds substitute for regular symbols and pay 50x the bet for a complete line, while Coins and two different Elvis Collector symbols drive most of the feature activity.

Regular Coins carry values from 1x to 10x the bet. When a Cash Elvis Collector appears on the middle reel alongside them, it collects every visible Coin value. Coins also have a random chance of launching Hold & Win, which otherwise triggers by landing at least one Coin or Cash Collector on each of the three reels. The feature starts with 3 respins and uses only blanks, Coins and Cash Collectors. New Collectors become locked, reset the respin counter and collect the values of all Coins that subsequently appear.

A parallel system handles the jackpots. Jackpot symbols can contain the 15x Mini, 30x Minor, 100x Major or 500x Grand, with the Jackpot Elvis Collector gathering all visible prizes. Landing Jackpot symbols or Collectors across all three reels can trigger Jackpot Hold & Win, while an individual Jackpot symbol also carries a random chance of activating it. The resulting feature follows the same 3-respin structure as the cash version, replacing ordinary Coins and Collectors with their jackpot equivalents.

Enhanced play doesn't add anything mechanically different. Paying an additional 50% of the stake doubles the bonus probability, while Hold & Win can be purchased for 50x the bet and Jackpot Hold & Win for 150x. Their respective RTPs are 95.82% and 95.86%, marginally higher than the standard game's 95.74%.

Burning Jackpots therefore feels like a missed opportunity. The dual Collector setup is straightforward and having both cash and jackpot versions means meaningful features can arrive without much explanation, which suits the low-volatility profile. But a 2,250x ceiling is absurdly low, the mechanics are taken directly from an existing Octoplay game, and the Elvis licence contributes surprisingly little beyond decoration. For a performer synonymous with excess and spectacle, this is an unusually restrained tribute.
