It Shouldn’t Be That Low! Youtuber In Hillarious Disagreement With BWB Verdict

Sorry to kick this piece off by stating the obvious, but every person has an opinion, and they aren’t always the same. This applies to all walks of life, from slot reviews to politics, to what TV show you and your buddies should watch on Netflix that night. As such, we welcome readers to share their points of view on slots whenever the mood strikes. Whether you agree with our reviews or think we should get our heads checked for giving some tilted piece of trash a glowing assessment – or vice versa.

Usually, feedback comes via the comments section at the bottom of an article, where a bit of friendly back and forth can take place. However, in this instance, one of our reviews prompted a more structured comeback. One reader felt we’d got a review totally wrong and took the time out of their day to craft a full four-minute plus YouTube clip rebuttal.

Let’s be clear, the clip was done in a completely amicable way, which we took as constructive criticism rather than a personal attack. It’s all good, as they say. The biggest eyebrow raising factor in the video was the specific game that maker Ben365 took exception to.

This game flew pretty low on the radar, so it’s understandable if you missed the review when it originally dropped. The game in question is none other than Crazy Tooth Studio‘s angling extravaganza Golden Hook. Built on their unique WiNCREASE engine, Golden Hook follows in the footsteps of the equally obscure The Incredible Balloon Machine. Then again, is it actually a slot? If not, how should Golden Hook be classified? The debate continues.

Ben365 seems well versed in Bitcoin Crash style games, and Golden Hook does have a similar dynamic going on. Basically, you hold down the, uh, spin button, cast off to hopefully hook a prize bearing fish and collect it before the line snaps.

Ben365 might not have seen eye to eye with us on the final score, but we can agree on a few things. Golden Hook is indeed different from just about every other slot on the market, for good or ill is a personal matter. And while Golden Hook didn’t quite float our boat, as has been made clear by Ben365’s call out, there is a keen audience for Crazy Tooth’s unique brand of entertainment, some of it at least. Cheers Ben365!
