Le Panda Town Slot
Le Panda Town is an exclusive release from Hacksaw Gaming available on selected casinos only.
Originality is becoming the biggest problem with Hacksaw Gaming's Le series, and Le Panda Town does little to change that. Smokey is back wearing a panda-style hood in a city slowly being overtaken by bamboo, but underneath the new scenery sits essentially the same framework used by Le Bandit and several releases that followed it. The presentation remains polished and distinctive enough, but anyone familiar with the series will know almost immediately how this one works.
Le Panda Town uses a 6x5 grid where clusters of at least 5 horizontally or vertically connected symbols pay. Bets range from €0.10 to €100, medium volatility is used, the default RTP is 96.34% and wins are capped at 10,000x the bet. Winning clusters trigger Super Cascades, which remove every matching symbol of the winning type from the board rather than only those directly forming the cluster.

Positions involved in wins become Marked Squares. Once the Cascades have finished, landing a Rainbow activates these positions and reveals Bronze, Silver or Gold Coins, Four-Leaf Clovers or Pots of Gold. Gold Coins can carry values reaching 500x the bet, while Clovers multiply nearby prizes by as much as x10. Pots collect the visible values and can also reactivate the Marked Squares, creating another round of reveals.
The three Free Spins modes mainly differ in how persistent those squares become. Three FS symbols trigger 8 Luck of the Panda spins, where Marked Squares carry between spins but reset after Rainbow activation. Four FS symbols award 12 All That Glitters Is Gold spins and allow Marked Squares to remain active even after being used. Landing 5 FS symbols unlocks the hidden Treasure At The End Of The Rainbow feature with 12 spins, permanent Marked Squares, a guaranteed Rainbow on every spin and no Bronze Coins among the possible reveals.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins cost 3x the regular stake and make the bonus five times more likely, while 50x Rainbow FeatureSpins guarantee a Rainbow on each spin. Luck of the Panda can be purchased for 100x the bet and All That Glitters Is Gold for 250x. The highest Free Spins tier isn't offered as a direct purchase.
The problem with Le Panda Town isn't that the mechanics don't work. Super Cascades and accumulating Marked Squares still create satisfying sequences, and progressively improving their persistence across the three bonuses gives the features a clear hierarchy. It's simply difficult to overlook how thoroughly Hacksaw has recycled this particular setup.
Even the All That Glitters Is Gold bonus name returns unchanged, making the panda makeover feel particularly superficial. With a 96.34% RTP and 10,000x ceiling the underlying package remains respectable, but Le Panda Town offers very little that hasn't already been available elsewhere in the Le series.
