Lotus Treasure Slot
Lotus Treasure puts Pragmatic Play back into one of the industry's most heavily used settings, combining an Asian fortune theme with another Money Collect mechanic. Dragons, red envelopes and a pagoda provide the familiar backdrop, while the gameplay revolves around Money symbols and five different Collect modifiers. It's polished in the usual Pragmatic fashion, but neither the theme nor the basic concept offers much that hasn't been seen before.
Played on a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, Lotus Treasure can land Money symbols on reels 1-4 carrying values from 1x to 100x the bet. These prizes require a Collect symbol on reel 5 to pay. The standard Collect gathers everything in view, Extra Credit increases each Money value before collection, while Multiplier Collect applies a multiplier to the available prizes.

Expanding Collect fills reels containing Money symbols with additional randomly valued Money symbols before collecting them. Respin Collect instead locks the Money and Collect symbols in place while all remaining positions receive another spin. Having five variations provides some variety, although they're ultimately different ways of modifying and collecting the same cash values.
The Free Spins feature awards 8 spins and keeps all five Collect mechanics active. Each Collect symbol also advances a progression meter above the reels, with every fourth Collect awarding additional Free Spins and a Money Collect multiplier that can eventually reach x5. This gives the bonus some progression beyond simply landing more Money symbols.
There isn't anything particularly wrong with the underlying mechanics, but Lotus Treasure feels assembled from ideas Pragmatic Play and numerous other studios have already used extensively. The different Collect symbols create enough variation to keep individual hits from being completely predictable, and the progressing multiplier gives Free Spins a worthwhile target. Against that, the 94.51% RTP is disappointing, while the 5,000x payout ceiling isn't especially ambitious either (though this is not taking the jackpots into account which can be significant).
Lotus Treasure is consequently difficult to get excited about. Five Collect types make it slightly more involved than the most basic cash-symbol slots, but they don't disguise how familiar the overall experience is, while the Asian fortune theme does nothing to give the game an identity of its own.
