Lucky Multifruit: Slot Overview
Apparently, lychees are considered to be an auspicious fruit according to feng shui, and oranges have been said to symbolise good luck in Asian cultures. Hopefully, pixelated fruit will turn out to be lucky for gamblers if they decide to take the slot Lucky Multifruit for a spin. It's been designed by Trusty Gaming, another slot maker picked up by Hacksaw Gaming, which continues to spread its tentacles throughout the industry, pulling studios into its orbit. Where developers such as Backseat Gaming or Bullshark Games produce slots that feel like Hacksaw Gaming cousins, Lucky Multifruit is actually quite different. How about we check out how?
For starters, Trusty Gaming has described Lucky Multifruit as a 'classic fruit-themed game', and it is exceptionally hard to argue with that definition. Classic fruit isn't something which pings hard on Hacksaw Gaming's radar, as the studio tends to pick more original topics, or at least pick common topics, then push and knead them into something original. Not so much Lucky Multifruit, but if you like bright, funky, basic classicism, eh, it's one to check.

A total of 14 paylines have been placed within Lucky Multifruit's 5x4 reelset, evaluating winning combinations from the leftmost side of the matrix. Players may stake 10 c to $/€100 per spin in what is a medium volatile slot. Lucky Multifruit comes in two RTP configurations, with the highest return value being 96.23%.
From the bottom up, the symbol list has lemons, plums, oranges, watermelons, grapes, cherries, bells, sevens, and stars. These classic slot icons pay out 2.5 to 20 times the bet when a winning line of 5 OAK hits. Wilds hit on all reels, too. The wild symbol substitutes for all of the paying symbols except for the Diamond scatter symbols. A line of 5 wilds pays 50x the stake.
Lucky Multifruit: Slot Features

Lucky Multifruit's main feature is a free spins round. In the base game, landing 3 or more Diamond scatters anywhere on the grid triggers the free spins feature. Players win 10, 12, or 15 free spins, plus a payout of 5x, 10x, or 25x the bet when 3, 4, or 5 scatters, respectively, land. During the free spins feature, wild symbols land with multiplier values of x2 to x7. If more than one wild appears in a winning combination, all multipliers are added together before being applied to the win. Hitting 3, 4, or 5 scatters in the feature awards +5, +6, or +7 additional free spins.
Bonus Buy
Lucky Multifruit's free spins round can be bought from the bonus buy for 100 times the bet.

Lucky Multifruit: Slot Verdict
For a slot with Hacksaw Gaming's name associated with it, Lucky Multifruit was surprisingly average. Okay, Lucky Multifruit is powered by Hacksaw Gaming, not made by them, it was Trusty Gaming who constructed the game, but it was a surprise nevertheless. Just about everything in Lucky Multifruit was so ordinary. It's not terrible ordinary, just garden variety stuff. The visuals are made up of pleasantly plain fruit and lighting effects, and the sounds are like department store background music, making it nigh on impossible for the review to get worked up into a raving frenzy of enthusiasm over hitting the spin button. Such are the pitfalls of designing a plain fruit slot. Keep the action this low-key, and games are in danger of fading into a blurred soup of thousands of other forgotten slots like a pile of decomposing fallen fruit in a sad part of the garden.
But whatever, Lucky Multifruit is the start of a new partnership, and this sort of release isn't Hacksaw Gaming's usual forte. Teaming up with a studio that makes conventional, low-hanging fruit stuff might help Hacksaw Gaming gain access to another segment of the gambling market. A segment that is head over heels with old-school material, fruit, flames and so on, which Lucky Multifruit fits like a charm. Wild multis are never a bad add-on, though they're about all the game has to boost payout potential.
Potential overall is underwhelming as well, capped at 2,000x the bet at full fruit smash. A powerful suspicion is that Hacksaw Gaming's fanbase isn't about to go gaga over this. Certain classically minded gamblers might, though, so it will be interesting to see how the partnership with Trusty Gaming unfolds.
In Short
Lucky Multifruit might suit basic fruit tastes, but it feels like a nanoscopic anomaly compared to Hacksaw Gaming & CO’s bigger ground shakers.
