Money Collect

When Money symbols hit, they do so with a value of 0.5x to 20x the bet, or the 25x Minor, the 100x Major, or the 1,000x Grand prize. Collect, and Super Collect symbols may land on the leftmost and rightmost reels. When at least one Collect or Super Collect symbol is in view at the same time as Money symbols, the values of all Money symbols are awarded.

When landed, the Super Collect symbol first adds a random amount of Money symbols to positions on reels that already have at least one Money symbol on them. Then, the values of all Money symbols on the screen are paid. If 2 Collect or Super Collect symbols hit along with Money symbols, a random multiplier of x2 to x10 is applied to the total value of Money symbols on the screen.

Bonus Trigger

Hitting 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters pays 2x, 5x, 10x, or 20x, respectively, while also triggering free spins. Well, that was okay. Megaways does what it's meant to do in a makeover by expanding Money Stacks Megaways into a bigger game than Money Stacks was. The super-sized gaming area has been joined by a few extra add-ons that weren't available last time, as well. One of these is the boost picks at the start of both features - one pick for wild multiplier free spins, possibly more picks with Money Spins. Boosts are always good when you can get them, as are general multipliers, which were also unavailable in Money Stacks. The new mechanical setup and the new features make Money Stacks Megaways a bigger, fuller, rounder experience than Money Stacks while also wedging a bit of extra space between itself and slots like Mask of Amun, Blazing Bison Gold Blitz, and Gold Blitz.

Still, Money Stacks Megaways' core elements are a tad bland. One of the bonus rounds is a fairly standard Megaways rising win multiplier feature; the other is a fairly standard Money symbol collection game. There are loads of those on the market already. Admittedly, a highlight was winning Money Spins with two guaranteed Super Collect symbols on each spin. Get those two, and not only are they able to add cash to the reels, but you also benefit from a multiplier for the collect on each spin as well. That wasn't too bad. Neither is Money Stacks Megaways's max win, which at 10,000x is double its predecessor. The game does try quite hard to overload the senses with high-energy tunes and a flashing light show, as well as expanding the gameplay using things like the pick-me boosts, so while at heart, Money Stacks Megaways is a bit of a copycat, it is an improvement over the previous game.
