Moon Rush Slot

Moon Rush is an exclusive release available on selected casinos only.

Moon Rush takes Pragmatic Play's familiar multiplier-grid formula and gives it a crypto makeover. Meme coins and cartoonish crypto imagery replace the sweets of Sugar Rush, but beneath the new skin there is little disguising the similarities. Cascades create multiplier positions, repeated hits increase their values, and Free Spins make those multipliers persistent. It's a proven formula, but one Pragmatic has already explored extensively.

The game uses a 6x5 Scatter Pays grid, with every win triggering a tumble that removes winning symbols and drops replacements into their positions. Winning locations become marked, and hitting the same position again creates a 2x multiplier. Further hits double its value through x4, x8, x16 and so on, eventually reaching x128. When several multiplier positions contribute to the same win, their values are added together. Base-game multipliers disappear once the tumble sequence ends.

Landing at least 4 Scatters awards 10 Free Spins, where marked positions and their multipliers persist between spins. This allows individual areas of the grid to become progressively more valuable throughout the feature. Another 4 or more Scatters during the bonus adds 10 extra spins, providing considerably more time to develop the multiplier grid.

There is also an extensive selection of enhanced modes. A 10x Ante Bet makes the feature ten times more likely, while 20x Super Spin 1 starts with random multiplier positions and 250x Super Spin 2 places 32x multipliers across the grid. Standard Free Spins cost 100x, while the 500x Super Free Spins begin with every position carrying a 2x multiplier. The standard RTP is 96.50%, with payout potential capped at 5,000x.

There's nothing particularly wrong with how Moon Rush plays. The multiplier spots provide an obvious sense of progression, especially during Free Spins when a productive section of the grid can continue growing rather than resetting. The problem is that Sugar Rush already established this concept years ago, and numerous subsequent Pragmatic releases have explored similar territory. Changing candy for meme coins isn't enough to make the experience feel particularly fresh.

Moon Rush therefore comes across as another competent but highly derivative Pragmatic Play release. The mechanics remain effective, but the 5,000x ceiling feels especially restrictive alongside options costing as much as 250x or 500x the stake. Players who simply want another variation on the Sugar Rush formula may find exactly that here, but anyone hoping Pragmatic would do something new with the concept is likely to come away disappointed.
