Super Wild Symbol

The Siren Queen appears in the game as the Super Wild symbol. This is a 4 positions stacked symbol that covers the whole reel and can only land on the 15th spin. Super Wilds may have a multiplier of up to x2, x3, x5 attached to them as per the progress bar. The multiplier applies to line wins.

The Nobleman

The Nobleman symbol only lands on the middle reel as well, and he does not contribute to forming winning lines. Instead, when the Nobleman lands, he gets collected, progressing the bar situated to the side of the reels. Collections occur during the first 14 spins of a 15-spin cycle, while the Siren's Treasure triggers on the final 15th spin. Noblemen do not land on the 15th spin, and only one may land on a spin.

Siren's Treasure

Sirens' Riches is played in batches of 15 spins. Whenever the Nobleman symbol hits, his essence is used to move the progress bar a step. Every second step achieved on the progress bar awards a modifier that is triggered on the 15th spin:

• Step 2 – 2 guaranteed wilds.
• Step 4 – 1 wild is added to make it 3 guaranteed wilds.
• Step 6 – the Siren Queen (the Super Wild) is guaranteed to land.
• Step 8 – the Siren Queen will appear with an x2 multiplier.
• Step 10 – the Siren Queen will appear with an x3 multiplier, and one respin is awarded.
• Step 12 – the Siren Queen will appear with an x5 multiplier, another respin is awarded (making it 2 respins in total), and 3 extra wilds are added (making it 6 wilds in total).
• Step 14 – a win of 3,000x the bet is added to all the other rewards.

During respins, the Siren Queen Super Wild as well as wilds granted from the Siren's Treasure bar, and any wild that landed on the 15th spin or on following respins, are locked for the remaining respins. After the 15th spin has played, the progress bar resets and a new cycle of spins may begin.

Spin cycle-driven games are fairly common, ish, not super common, but it's hard to think of many others which can potentially go parabolic the way Siren's Riches is capable of. Often, these sorts of gaming mechanics store frames on the grid and then fill them with wilds on the final spin of the cycle. Sirens' Riches takes the idea several steps further with a compelling collection feature, which gets exponentially better the further the Siren's Treasure bar progresses. The first couple of steps, okay, they're not super exciting - guaranteed wilds and up to just three at that. Although, non-guaranteed wilds are still free to land on the final spin. Next is the full reel Super Wild, and should you be lucky enough to make it past there, things can start to cook.

Like the tides, Sirens' Riches wafts in, and it wafts out. Without a bonus round or free spins, play is limited entirely to the base game and the collecting of Nobleman symbols. As such, unless something pretty neat happens sooner or later, the sooner, the better, Sirens' Riches is in danger of coming across a little too repetitive. What saves it is the goodies available at the higher levels of the Siren's Treasure bar are pretty enticing. The 3,000x award is certainly better than a jellyfish sting, and Sirens' Riches boasts full winning potential of 22,307.5 times the bet. Didn't exactly see that one coming.

Maybe someone over at Red Tiger likes mermaids and/or sirens because, for whatever reason, the studio went big for this one. Bigger than a lot of these batch spin-style games often are. Bigger than a lot of Red Tiger games are, for that matter, including Monsters Unchained - a similarly styled game. Therefore, for anyone who likes the way these sorts of games play out, going round and round in hopes of hitting an almighty final spin, Sirens' Riches is probably worth getting your toes wet for.
