Lab of Madness It's A-Wild wasn't a high-scoring slot when it was reviewed half a year or so prior, so there were not huge expectations when buckling in for a clone. Sad to say, those expectations were not exceeded, even after traversing the galaxy with a cute dog in an astronaut suit. Despite the new coat of paint and some more triple-feature action, once the boosters fired, it quickly became clear Triple Launch Fortune Wild was more a recycled orbit than a brave new launch. Being built on the same foundations as its predecessor, the game doesn't attempt to reinvent anything new, meaning, if you weren't drawn to the Victor Frankenstein flavoured action of Lab of Madness It's A-Wild, hitting launch on this one probably won't appeal either.

Then again, three-pot mechanics are taking over the gambling world one release at a time, so there are clearly hordes of gamblers lining up to throw coins at them. In that frame of mind, there are probably enough positives about Triple Launch Fortune Wild to command some attention from the relevant crowd. The atmosphere is buoyant, combining all three wild features together into a full reel walking multiplier, wild freak out might be enjoyable, and local jackpots have a ready-made audience. Winning potential cruises past the Mega prize's value, too, reaching 8,000x the bet, so there is a sizable target for willing space farers to set their sights on.

Still, by reskinning gameplay which wasn't amazing the first time around, Triple Launch Fortune Wild felt closer to a skyrocket pop than a high-powered cruise through the cosmos. As such, the game drifts in low orbit, neither broken, but not expanding the frontiers of outer space either. It knows who its audience might be, though, and despite a galaxy full of brighter options, should be able to tractor beam some in.
