Collect Feature

Money symbols land on all reels except the rightmost reel. They carry values of 2x to 500x the bet. When a collect symbol hits on the rightmost reel, all money symbol values in view are awarded.

Triple Pot Diamond has Phoenix, Dragon, and Tiger scatters, landing on the middle three reels. Whenever they hit, they are collected by their pot above the reels. At random, when 1, 2, or 3 scatters hit, 6 free spins trigger with one, two, or three modifiers linked to the scatters that triggered the feature. During free spins, the value of any money symbol is awarded without the need for a collect symbol.

The modifiers are all the same. At the start of the round, an x5 multiplier is added to the position where the triggering scatter/scatters landed in the base game, and an x2 multiplier is added to all adjacent positions. These multipliers apply to all money symbols that land on those reels. Scatters may land in the round, and can randomly retrigger +3 free spins for each retriggering scatter and for each retriggering scatter, +x5 is added to their position and +x2 to the adjacent positions. Pragmatic Play knows how to pitch slots to gamblers, and there are sure to be players crawling all over this like flies on a dropped pie. But those outside its focus group might find even the name Triple Pot Diamond tedious. The title does drop clues as to what you're getting. Namely, three pots, linked to three modifiers, and a repeat, of sorts, of Triple Pot Gold. The three modifiers are up for debate, though, since each one does more or less exactly the same thing, except the multipliers they produce are triggered by different scatter symbols on different reels. The rest of the effect is bang on the same. It's not a bad effect, yet the lack of variety, like the title, is a tad on the tedious side.

No denying the system isn't a potentially productive one, though. Triple Pot Diamond does command a 10,000x the bet win cap, which is double what its predecessor boasted. But again, look a bit closer, and it's not as amazing as it first appears, since the max win probability is far greater in Triple Pot Diamond than it was in its predecessor, taking some of the shine off. Nevertheless, you can see how Triple Pot Diamond might appeal to its target audience. Money symbol collecting is fine enough in the base game, but collecting cash each time a money symbol lands in free spins, without the need for a collect symbol, is a lot more exciting. This is amplified by the possibility of applying multipliers to the cash rewards via increasing position multipliers. And so, while Triple Pot Diamond doesn't stray too far from its golden roots, its 'three' modifiers are debatable, and its max win probability is less encouraging, there are likely thrills to be had here for gamblers who match the criteria.
