Wincent Wolf Slot
Wincent Wolf takes BGaming to a glamorous version of Las Vegas, where a pair of well-dressed partners-in-crime run a crooked card table while apparently giving something back to the underdog. The nighttime Vegas setting is attractive enough, helped considerably by an Elvis-inspired soundtrack, but the gameplay is much easier to place. Sticky multiplier Wilds immediately invite comparisons with Pragmatic Play's The Dog House, making this more about BGaming's execution of an established formula than introducing anything particularly original.
The game uses 5 reels and 20 paylines, with Wilds restricted to reels 2, 3 and 4. Each arrives carrying either an x2 or x3 multiplier and substitutes for regular paying symbols. The mathematical setup is one of Wincent Wolf's stronger points, with medium-high volatility, a 97.00% RTP and payout potential reaching 10,000x the bet. That RTP in particular is unusually generous by current standards.
Landing at least 3 Scatters triggers Free Spins, but the number of spins isn't fixed. A Wheel of Fortune is activated first and determines the starting allocation, with as many as 19 Free Spins available. Once the feature begins, every multiplier Wild that lands becomes sticky and remains fixed on its position for the rest of the bonus.

The main twist comes from the Retrigger Counter. Every sticky Wild contributes towards it, and collecting 3 awards another 3 Free Spins while simultaneously doubling the multipliers attached to every active Wild. The process can occur up to three times during the same feature, allowing an x2 Wild, for example, to become considerably more valuable if enough retriggers are reached. It's a simple addition, but it gives the bonus a clear progression target beyond merely filling the middle reels with sticky Wilds.
There are two feature buy options listed for the game. Chance x2 adds 0.5x to the regular stake in exchange for an increased chance of activating Free Spins, while Wolf's Luck costs 60x the bet and provides direct access to the Sticky Wild bonus. That is a relatively inexpensive feature purchase compared with many modern slots, particularly considering the game's 10,000x ceiling.
Wincent Wolf is therefore a competent slot rather than an especially creative one. The sticky x2 and x3 Wilds are extremely familiar, and the resemblance to The Dog House makes it difficult to award BGaming much credit for originality. The retrigger system does improve the formula, however, since repeatedly doubling accumulated Wild multipliers gives Free Spins some genuine escalation, while the random starting spin count adds a little uncertainty before the feature begins.
Throw in the excellent 97.00% RTP and enjoyable Vegas presentation, and there's enough here for an entertaining experience. It just feels more like a well-executed variation on an old favourite than a slot with an identity of its own.
