Frankenstein's Fortune Slot (Mini Review)
Frankenstein's Fortune is a slot that clearly leans into variety rather than ambition. Blueprint Gaming has packed in several different bonus paths and modifiers, but all of them revolve around very familiar collect-style mechanics that the studio has been using extensively for years. Seeing three jars sitting above the reels, each filling to trigger a separate feature, will feel instantly recognisable to anyone who has played more than a handful of recent Blueprint releases.
While the different bonus modes do at least offer some variation in how the action plays out, none of them feel especially distinctive. Cash Spins, Frankie Spins, and the Cash Trail all follow predictable patterns, and the absence of a traditional Free Spins round makes the overall structure feel a bit flat. Much of the gameplay boils down to waiting for collect symbols to line up with values, something that has become increasingly repetitive across the market.
The biggest issue, though, is the low ceiling. With the maximum win capped at just 2,000x and the RTP sitting at 95%, it's hard to justify why so much effort has gone into layering features on top of a game that ultimately offers limited upside. For casual players, the frequent bonuses and clear presentation may be enough to keep things entertaining in short sessions. For more experienced players, especially those who gravitate toward higher volatility or bigger win potential, there's very little here to hold attention.
Overall, Frankenstein's Fortune feels like another safe, mediocre, formula-driven release that exists to serve a proven audience rather than push the genre forward. It isn't broken, and it will likely perform fine with players who enjoy collect mechanics and steady bonus triggers, but it's difficult to see it standing out in a market already flooded with similar games.
