Is it a bird, is it a plane? Nah, it's Immortal 5, a superhero slot forged in the flames of another collaboration between developer Relax Gaming and casino influencers CasinoDaddy. This is the third time the two entities have partnered up, following Sloth Tumble and Epic Dreams, both slots that were built around a sleepy sloth named Chip. It looks pretty good. The generic superheroes lack Marvel or DC gravitas, but they're bulked up and look like they could get the job done.

Covered in card suits and heroes is Immortal 5's gaming grid. It's makes use of 5 reels and 15 paylines to evaluate the wins. Landing one or more Immortal wild symbols on a normal spin activates the Immortal Respin feature. Triggering Immortal Wilds are locked in position till the feature ends. Immortal 5 Wild Feature

The Immortal 5 Wild feature triggers at random at the start of any base game spin. Between 1 and 5 reels are randomly highlighted. When a reel is chosen, a Hero Wild is placed and expands to cover the whole reel. This can repeat up to 5 times, making all reels Hero Wilds. When the conversion process ends, non-Hero Wild reels spin, and a win evaluation takes place.

Immortal Silver Bonus Game

Silver Bonus scatters are present on reels 3, 4, and 5. Landing 3 Silver Bonus scatter symbols triggers the Immortal Silver Bonus. When triggered, players pick from one of two bonus modes:

• Hero Mode 1 - starts with 6 free spins and has a progressive multiplier that applies to all wins. The multiplier starts at x1 and increases each time a symbol with a multiplier lands. Landing the expanding Hero Wild symbol also increases the multiplier.
• Hero Mode 2 - starts with 6 free spins. Each symbol position has its own multiplier that doubles on each spin when it is part of a win. Two are picks as described in the Immortal Silver Bonus; 1 pick is a Super Power-Up. Players may also choose Hero Mode 1 or Hero Mode 2 as before. The Super Power-Ups are:

• Immortal Transfer - One medium pay symbol is randomly selected and converted to a standard wild when it lands on the reels.
• Starting Hero Wild Reel - One reel is randomly chosen and converted to a Hero Wild reel.
• 6 Extra Free Spins.

Hero Bet & Feature Buy

For 1.5x the bet per spin, there is a greater chance of landing scatters for the Immortal Silver and the Immortal Gold Bonus games. For 5x the bet per spin, there is a greater chance of triggering the Immortal Gold Bonus (only Gold scatters appear), but the Immortal Wild feature is excluded in this mode. Both Hero Bets also increase the chance of landing expanding Hero Wilds. At the feature buy menu, players can buy a bonus round trigger for 100x the bet - it could be the Silver or the Gold Bonus. Immortal 5: Slot Verdict

Leaving the controversy associated with CasinoDaddy to one side for a moment, the influencer's third get-together with Relax Gaming isn't a terrible one, with a fairly wide array of features to explore. Whilst Relax Gaming has failed to really wow in 2024, the studio still knows a thing or two about constructing sturdy slots of, which Immortal 5 arguably qualifies as. Infectious 5, Immortal 5, happy coincidence? Or perhaps the glamorous Swedish influencer trio just conveniently forgot who they were working with.
