đź”” Who are ReelPlay?
ReelPlay originally began life in 2014 as Chance Interactive and eventually underwent a total re-brand in 2019. Not only did ReelPlay emerge with new branding, but embarked on a creative streak, as they put it by 'adding a little nitro.' As well as the name change, ReelPlay released its first Megaways slot Hypernova Megaways after collaborating with fellow countrymen Big Time Gaming. As well as utilising third-party game engines, ReelPlay has developed their own system dubbed Infinity Reels – not without some controversy. The studio butted heads with NetEnt who had developed a very similar concept called InfiniReels. The two studios came to an amicable agreement, leading to a number of subsequent Infinity Reels powered games, some alongside Megaways, as well as licensing the mechanic to several fellow studios.
Based in Sydney, Australia, ReelPlay distribute their slots via SG Digital's NYX Open Gaming System. As a result, players won't have a problem finding ReelPlay game's which are available at a wide range of online casinos. The studio holds an extensive list of licenses to operate in several jurisdictions, including those from the Malta Gaming Authority, the Danish Gambling Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission helping to ensure safe gaming.
