The base game, for instance, chugged slowly on in a haze of no wins, low wins, and odd grunting noises. Loki Super symbols were few and far between, meaning the 'revenge', such as it was, moved at a surprisingly slow pace. Tumbles caused the occasional fun spike, but some additional Loki magic wouldn't have been amiss.

Special symbols did seem to be more prevalent in the bonus round, yet even then, extra involvement above and beyond what was delivered might have been cool. In saying that, persistent symbol upgrades might turn out to be productive. The rightmost reel's special Loki symbol is an odd one. Getting additional free spins is okay, as is a win multiplier. It's a shame, however, the win multiplier doesn't stick around till the free spins round is complete, but vanishes from existence at the end of the spin it triggered on. Wins are capped at 10,000x the bet, so the game can obviously put the tools it has to good use, but still, Revenge of Loki Megaways can feel like an uphill battle.
