That was surprisingly easy to digest for a Thunderkick game. The studio doesn't make overly complicated slots to begin with, but The Golden Pot & Pints is rather light on rules. Rather light on features, too. Initial thoughts were that The Golden Pot & Pints would be closer to Archie O'Loggins and the Enchanted Masks or Hot Potato, maybe springboarding further into cluster paying complexity. However, instead of wading deeper into cluster territory, Thunderkick has eased the dial back to craft an engaging yet somewhat shallow slot in some ways, though not bad ways.

Shallow does not automatically translate to a negative trait, though, and The Golden Pot & Pints is able to elevate the pulse rate. What helps is each and every cluster win in the base game generates a wild multiplier of up to x100, though lower values are probably going to be more common, combining multipliers when more than 1 wild is part of a win. Strong, no-nonsense stuff, like a goto heady brew. Free spins flip the rules in that winning wild multipliers toss their values right to the Global Multiplier, which persists throughout the feature. Again, no-nonsense stuff that gets to the point without mucking around.

Once you've seen The Golden Pot & Pints do its thing a few times, that's about it, though. This isn't a slot with masses of depth or hidden nooks and crannies to discover. Perhaps given the ubiquitous nature of the slot's theme, the Thunderkick team didn't want to throw away their best ideas on it. Ah well, as it stands, The Golden Pot & Pints can generate wins of up to 10,000x and is a solid enough, if a tad superficial, leprechaun-filled cluster pays slot.
