ReelPlay’s Infinity Reels™ Goes on Export

Infinity Reels

Just two days after the official announcement that NetEnt and ReelPlay had come to an agreement over IP rights relating to their respective, and awkwardly similar, game mechanics – InfiniReels™ and Infinity Reels™ – now comes the news that ReelPlay’s version is to become a franchise product in the same fashion as Big Time Gaming‘s Megaways. First out to sign a deal for the rights to use the Infinity Reels mechanic is iGaming aggregator and developer Relax Gaming.

Not only does the deal open up the opportunity for Relax Gaming to incorporate Infinity Reels in their own games, but for its third-party studios as well such as Dice Lab, SthlmGaming, Fantasma Games, and Kalamba Games to name a few.

Relax Gaming chief product officer Simon Hammon of Relax Gaming, said: “ReelPlay’s widely successful release of El Dorado Infinity Reels™ marked the introduction of a truly unique and original mechanic that we believe will be a big disruptor in the industry.

The IP deal reflects our commitment to enhancing value and passion for innovation. We look forward to delivering even more Infinity Reels™ games through our in-house and partner studios that will push the boundaries even further.”

David Johnson, CCO at ReelPlay said: “Proudly first to market with innovative and inspirational concepts, ReelPlay have only just scratched the surface of what is possible with Infinity Reels.

“ReelPlay expect this latest deal to unlock a world of new potential for all involved. Relax offer the perfect base to provide for competitive collaboration and we are excited to see how Relax and their partner studios incorporate the Infinity Reels IP into a wide variety of slot games.”

In case you’ve been busy with other things in life (which would be forgivable) and what to see what the fuss is all about, we suggest you check out El Dorado Infinity Reels, which was the first ever slot to make use of the game engine, as well as the recently released Giza Infinty Reels slot.
