Cashin' Joker: Slot Overview
Software provider Play'n GO has proven on more than one occasion its soft spot for jokers, and the studio has built a line of casino games dedicated to those wacky characters it calls its Joker Slot Series. Peruse the portfolio, and characters such as the Fire Joker, the Mirror Joker, and the Ice Joker come springing out, as does a new addition to the crew, the Cashin' Joker. He stars in a slot of the same name, which follows in the pointy, jangly footsteps of Free Reelin' Joker 1000, where the action is held on a single row of reels that land numerical values which combine to create a multiplier of the bet. There are a couple of extras, but Cashin' Joker is a slot that likes to keep things on the basic yet pacey side.
Cashin' Joker has a green and gold Art Deco vibe, all metallic and mechanical, though not overly soaked in Joker iconography if that's your thing. However, players are alerted to the fact that landing a Joker symbol will trigger the X-tra reel feature, which you will want to happen as much as possible since it adds an extra reel to the row, making it technically possible to achieve the game's bigger payouts. It's all quite tastefully designed; Play'n GO has toned down the wacky jokerness while turning up the classy elegance dial.

Cashin' Joker's gaming space is a single row containing three spinning reels. It is possible to wager 5 c to $/€100 in this highly volatile slot machine, where of the five RTP configurations, the preferable return value is 96.21%.
On the reels, Jokers, numbers, or blanks may land. Numbers are combined left to right to form a multiplier that is applied to the total bet. Blank spaces have no value. For example, say the leftmost reel lands an 8, then players win 8x the bet. Should an 8 land on the leftmost and rightmost reel with a blank in the middle, 88x the bet is awarded, and so on. In the base game, the leftmost reel has number values of 8, 3, 2, 1, and 0, the middle reel has 8, 2, 1, and 0, while the rightmost reel has 0 only.
Cashin' Joker: Slot Features

There aren't a lot of extras, but Cashin' Joker's features are respins and an additional X-tra Cashin' Reel.
Respin
If the rightmost reel has a non-0 multiplier number, the middle reel has any multiplier value, and the rightmost reel is blank, there is a random chance the rightmost reel respins. It is possible to land a Joker symbol during a respin.
X-tra Cashin' Reel
Landing a Joker anywhere reveals the X-tra reel. The X-tra reel is added to the left side of the regular reels, increasing the size of the row. During the X-tra Cashin' Reel, respins cannot trigger, Joker symbols cannot land, and the X-tra Cashin Reel cannot be retriggered. What can happen is the new reel may land a numerical value, potentially combining with the other reels to create a larger payout. When the X-tra Cashin Reel is active, the leftmost reel has values of 10, 8, 3, 2, and 1, the second reel has 8, 2, 1, and 0, whereas the third and rightmost reel have 0 only. During this feature, blanks may land on any reel except the leftmost.

Cashin' Joker: Slot Verdict
They might not make up the most populous category of online slots, but players do have a few of these single-row games to choose from. Crazy Tooth's Seven 7s is an unusually interesting option, while Pragmatic Play's Master Joker is the more conventionally presented choice. Both operate quite differently from each other, and from the way Cashin' Joker functions, evidence of casino game makers' ability to take something as restrictive as a single row and squeeze something, if not paradigm-shifting, then at least something relatively unique out of it. This is no bad thing, given the sheer number of online slots that continually pour onto the market.
It's hard to call Cashin' Joker wildly unique, however, since it performs very closely to the way Free Reelin' Joker 1000 did. The basic rules are the same - land numbers on reels to benefit from the bet multiplier value they produce. The previous game's Chance Spin has been reworked as a rightmost reel respin feature, and the previous game's Free Reelin Bonus also added an extra reel to the left side of the row like Cashin' Joker's X-tra Cashin' Reel does, for the chance of hammering out a bigger win. Very similar stuff, in other words.
However, before single-row slot fans write Cashin' Joker off, they should be aware that far, far greater winning potential is theoretically possible here than in the previous release. Where Free Reelin' Joker 1000 put the breaks on at 200x the bet (1000 coins), Cashin' Joker dunks on that figure with a top prize of 10,800x the bet. It stands to reason that players who liked what they saw in Free Reelin' Joker but were put off by the small numbers can step up to try their luck with Cashin' Joker's much bigger potential - bearing in mind, of course, the less than 1 in 1 billion chance of max exposure happening.
In Short
Cashin’ Joker offers a solid spin on the single-row slot formula, with greater winning potential than its predecessor, but ultimately doesn’t bring anything groundbreaking to the table.
